• What is the difference between Double and Single Hung?

On single hung windows, the top glass is fixed while the bottom glass operates up and down and tilts in for easy cleaning.

On double hung windows, both top and bottom sashes operate up and down and also tilt in for easy cleaning.

• Why do I need Low-E2 glass?

The special color - neutral coating on Low-E2 glass minimizes heat flow so in winter; therefore, more heat stays inside where you need it to keep warm. In summer these special windows help keep heat outside so you can noticeably cut your cooling cost.

• Do I ever have to paint vinyl siding?

NO! Vinyl siding is virtually maintenance free. Just rinse with your garden hose a few times a year and that should do it.

Is nailed or screwed into the roof or fascia?

No, goes under the first row of shingles and is attached to the lip of the gutter with stainless steel screws.

Will it install over my existing gutters?

It is designed to go over your existing gutters!

You mean to say that nothing will get in the gutter?

No, that's not what we're saying. Clogged gutters are associated with rainfall because that is when the problem becomes apparent, but most debris gets into a gutter when it's not raining.
